Our DogsWe have 2 Icelandic Sheepdogs, Vina (female) and Cosmo (male). They both love to be around the family. No matter where we go or what we’re doing they want to be a part of it. They both recently had their eyes tested (CERF) and they came back perfectly healthy. Vina Vina is a tri-color (black, white, brown) female born on October 6, 2005. She’s very “talkative”! She likes to bark, a lot! She barks at everything, and sometimes nothing at all. Vina is incredibly smart, probably the smartest dog we’ve known, and loves to go on long walks and runs with me. She’s very loyal and is great with the kids. Vina’s fur is around medium length, and very soft! No exaggeration, her fur is soft like silk! Both dogs are very clean, rarely need a bath or brushing, do not have that “doggy smell” and don’t have that oily feel many breeds have which is very nice. You can pet them and you don’t have to wash your hands after!

Cosmo Cosmo was born on August 13, 2006. His fur is longer than Vina’s, and has grey, brown and white colors in his coat. Though his fur is very soft, it’s not quite as soft as Vina’s, but he still does not have the “doggy” smell or oily skin. Unlike Vina, Cosmo is much quieter and usually only barks when there’s something interesting going on. His personality is very silly! He loves to play ball (fetch) and will happily play as long as your arm can last. Otherwise he’s very mellow.
